The Epistles of John

John probably had the most fulfilling life of all the Apostles because of his tremendous understanding of agape love. John has been called the Apostle of Love. These epistles could also be called "THE TEST OF LIFE" because of the phrase, which occurs again and again - "By this we know." In each case, there is a test of what the Christian is and the mistakes of misguided Christians that can wreck the Christian community. In other words, do we have a true commitment to the ways of God, and do we really love, as we should? These three epistles show us the Father's love for us.
